eologix sensor technology GmbH was founded in 2014 by Michael Moser, Thomas Schlegl und Hubert Zangl after a year at the academic business incubator “Science Park Graz”.

In the 2014/15 winter season already, the first system was commercially used on a wind turbine. Furthermore, several systems were in operation for testing at OEMs and operators of wind turbines. The efficient and retrofittable icing detection solution could easily convince customers.

Since 2013, our core product is protected by national and international patents. Today, more than 350 systems for icing detection on wind turbines are deployed and are used worldwide to help reduce downtimes as well as to use wind energy even more efficiently.
