JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Lab Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our organoid research lab. You will be responsible for ensuring the laboratory operates smoothly, complies with GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) and ISO (International Standards Organization) standards, and fosters a collaborative and innovative environment for research excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a cutting-edge research team, help establish and maintain GLP and ISO standards. You will be integral to building a compliant lab environment, ensuring both research and manufacturing practices meet industry regulations.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage lab operations: Oversee the daily functions of the organoid lab, including equipment maintenance, supply management, and compliance with GLP and GMP.
- Establish and maintain GLP & ISO standards: Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), quality assurance protocols, and ensure the lab complies with both GLP and ISO meet the regulations and maintain strict adherence to quality assurance protocols.
- Team leadership: Supervise and mentor lab technicians and researchers, providing guidance and ensuring quality in all experiments and procedures.
- Protocol development: Design, develop, and optimize protocols for organoid culture and related assays, ensuring compliance with both GLP and GMP.
- Data integrity & documentation: Ensure accurate and compliant documentation of experimental data and manufacturing processes in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with international scientists, external partners, and regulatory bodies to support ongoing research, manufacturing processes, and ensure compliance.
YOUR PROFILE
- Master’s or PhD in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biomedical Sciences, or a related eld.
- Proven experience with organoid culture, 3D cell culture, and stem cell research.
- Strong understanding of GLP and ISO standards desired
- 3+ years of experience managing a laboratory, preferably in a biotech or pharmaceutical setting .
- Prociency in lab automation systems, equipment management, and data acquisition tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience in quality assurance, auditing processes, and SOP development under GLP andISO desired.
