To build the future of drug development and precision medicine we are looking for a Tech Technician to join our team.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

As a Tech Technician, you will be an essential part of our team, assisting with the development of hardware systems, managing data generation, maintaining lab equipment, and supporting research tasks. You will also work with advanced 3D printing technologies to fabricate microfluidic devices, ensuring that our lab runs efficiently and stays at the forefront of innovation.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in hardware development: Support the design, assembly, and testing of microfluidic and organ-on-chip devices.
  • Data generation and analysis: Manage and process data from experiments, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Lab equipment maintenance: Maintain, troubleshoot, and manage lab equipment to ensure optimal performance, including software updates and repairs.
  • Support research tasks: Collaborate with scientists on experimental design and execution, contributing to ongoing research in organ-on-chip and microfluidic systems.
  • 3D printing techniques: Operate and maintain 3D printing equipment to fabricate components for microfluidic devices and research prototypes.
  • Documentation and reporting: Maintain accurate records of experiments, device fabrication processes, and data analysis for internal use and regulatory purposes.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Bioengineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with hardware development, particularly in microfluidics, organ-on-chip systems, or similar technologies is a plus.
  • Proficiency in data management and basic programming or data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R).
  • Familiarity with 3D printing technologies and techniques.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with an ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to document and report research processes.
  • Ability to work both independently and in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
